NEXT UP is the programme curated by Beatrice Rainone, dedicated to a critical selection of the most significant initiatives that address the new themes and languages with which contemporary art confronts digital culture.

Over 120 events on the theme of the New Language of the City. Between Artificial Intelligence and human expression. Exhibitions, workshops and free talks aimed at promoting debate on digitisation issues. The MEET Digital Culture Centre will present the works Artificial Dreams and City Digital Skin Art. At the National Museum of Science and Technology, the installations Universal Everything: Infinity and Kinfolk will be on display.
The exhibition presents Boundaries, the new digital animation by Memo Akten, which explores the concept of boundaries as spaces of connection. Curated by Walter Vanhaerents, this is the third major exhibition of the Vanhaerents Art Collection in Venice, with reference to the city’s cultural history.
The exhibition focuses on multimedia performing arts and creative innovation. Performance, digital culture, Metaverse and Italian electronics merge with artificial intelligence and virtual environments developing new formats. The Re:Humanism Art Prize and the 3rd National Meeting of Live Digital Arts complete the focus.

Inspired by biologist Jakob von Uexküll’s concept of ‘Umwelt’, the exhibition promotes a dialogue between natural and artificial elements. The exhibition encourages reflection on artificial intelligence as a means to better understand the environment and other forms of intelligence, promoting a critical debate on ecological ethics.
Nexus presents the installation Plantalia by artist Debora Hirsch. Projected on a large screen, the work explores Mediterranean biodiversity and endangered plants, using art, technology and blockchain to create a living archive.
Return of the workshop held by Fuse* at Dynamo Camp, which offers recreational therapy to children and adolescents with serious illnesses. In it, inspired by the work Onirica (), participants shared their dreams, reinterpreted in real time by AI.
